I don't imagine too many people will be interested, but I thought it would be fun to chronicle the construction of the log home. Any suggestions that people have will be welcomed.
Here is what the home site looked like before we started construction - the shed held camping gear and a chain saw since tress were constantly blocking the trail to the back of the land.
After one day of clearing - lots of trees are gone already!
Now the trail going to the site is wide enough to actually drive on!

Now the site has lots more trees cleared and the smoke is from the "controlled burn" of the tress that were cleared.
Wow, that's amazing! What a cool idea to keep everyone up to date! I'm ready for Smores!

Loved the video coming down the road. Would liked to have seen the entire walk up to the home site. Pretty impressive. Can't wait to see the next stage of the process. Keep pics and videos coming:)
