The back wall which will contain the fireplace has been erected. The floor joists for the second floor are in and there is a little bit of flooring started. The site work folks have been back and they re-graded the road and added more gravel so the site is a bit easier to access. On Monday the slab for the garage floor is supposed to be poured and then the logs can be started on that area. So exciting to see it taking shape!
Jacob climbed up the scaffolding along the back and took this picture looking into the kitchen area. Here's todays video:

ReplyDeleteStill think it's a shame that Luci doesn't get to see this other than on this blog. He is already so impressed with everything but would be even more impressed if he got to see it in person! Amazing!
