There are now 18 courses of logs on the garage. The big debate this week was that since there are 22 courses on the first floor of the house, how will the garage and house match up on the second floor? Now we are debating whether to make the garage taller or make a couple steps from the house into the bonus room. 
This is the stain color provided by Southland. We tried some other products, but this was the lightest one, so we will go with it!

Fun! Didn't know that the logs were/are called courses. Hope they come up with a good resolution for the transition from house to garage. Like the stain :)
